Two Of Our Best Fly West
As( 2 Of Our Best Fly West) i post with a sadness in the depths of my heart for the families of Mr Jimmy Franklin and Mr Bobby Younkin.They perished in a mid-air collision at the Moose Jaw Airshow in Canada on Jul/ 10/ 2005. I had the chance to meet both of these guys in my travels to airshows in the past so they have been idols of mine for years . Unfortunately no matter how good you are at what you do your time in this place can expire in one heartbeat. These gents are and will be the best in the business for a long time to come. I wish i had the chance to thank them for every single show that made me gasp as well as the motivation to keep my eyes to the sky. My hats off to both of you and godspeed gentlemen.The last flight to heaven should be done in a Waco Biplane with the afterburnner on Jimmy. I promise that you will be missed and the next airshow i attend there will be a void in my soul. www.xteamairshows.com
