Moving On Without You
Looking through my pics tonight i came accross this one and began to regret the day i sold my Batwing . If you could only see some of the places this thing has taken me to then you could understand the bond between man and his machine. More important than any destination this airplane has taken me to ,it is resposible for the status i am at today . As a commercial multi engine pilot i have graduated to bigger and better aircraft , however there is and will always be a void in my heart for this contraption. Every time i climbed into my Avid i was at one with nature and things just seemed alot less complicated. It now resides somewhere on a lake in Saschatuwan Canada sitting peacefully on the water awaiting it's next adventure. Maybe in some ways i am just the same, waiting for the next liftoff and pondering where i go to next. My life is about to change in many ways as the time draws near to leave my West Air family in Las Vegas. Perhaps the job opportunities that have come my way will lead me back to simplicity . Until then i continue to work dilligently on my future and look forward to each and ever hour i get to spend in the heavens. I miss my Batwing and all the fun that comes along with owning an experimental !
