Santa Catalina
Home of the Catalina Flying Boats is where we chose to eat lunch at today 2/3/06. The island of Catalina is right off the coast of LA about 25 miles out to sea, only you couldn t see the sea today for the marine layer. It was almost mystical landing at this island completely encompassed in low lying clouds.The island kind of projects out of the mist like a painting of the rainforest .
