Texas Motorspeedway was home to the O riley 300 this weekend 4/8/06. This was my first real trip on the Brasilia and it was a riot , i soaked up alot of knowledge and the flight was uneventful just how we like it. At 300 knots you can cover some serious ground in this puppy so Dallas was only 3 hr out for us this weekend hauling 27 crewmembers belonging to the 88 Navy Car driven by Mark McFarland. I think i counted almost 200 Race Birds on the ramp from all over the nation and got to meet some very interesting people. Looks like we are out to Nashville TN next weekend so i just left the cowboy hat in the airplane ! http://www.nascar.com/races/tracks/tms/

Billy Bob's Honky Tonk Bar was once the worlds largest bar and has since been replaced by a joint in the orient somewhere. The gargantuan size of this place is evident as you approach the door. Once you get inside you are witness to some of the wildest behavior Fort Worth TX has to offer whether it be at the rodeo on one side, the Blake Shelton concert on the other side , or the wet T Shirt contest in the middle. Sweet Mellisa , The Hunter , and I are standing around one of the 100 bars in this place trying to get our bearings. Thats tough to do in a place so massive. What an awesome night we had hanging out with our Nascar family! I am going to love this job and i definitely love Texas. It didn t take me long to figure out why everything is bigger in this place. Meet Jr Motorsports' newest Teamember , N388JR my new office , the Embraer -120 Brasilia. We took delivery on it this morning apr/4/06. The flight home from TX this evening was a very special one for all of us as it marks the beginning of a new team and the start of my new life. Everyone here is exceptional and my left seat, Steve, is phenominal ! Excitement is in the air for the Nascar Busch Series this year ! This weekend will be our first run together as we trek to TX for the O'Riley 300 . Ladies and gentlemen , Start Your Engines ! It's time to get it on.

I am speechless attempting to describe the Montgomery County Fair/BBQ Cookoff in Conroe TX this past weekend but come to think of it , YUMMY pops out of my mind. Birch and i arrived Fri morning in Houston to fly Jr's newly painted Embraer home . When we got to town we found ourselves in the middle of the biggest party i have ever witnessed, EVER !!!!! There were 5000 people gathered at the fairgrounds here for a 2 week shindig and they meant business. $10 bucks got you in the door and it was a free for all on alcohol and food, Yes i said free beer , and 5000 thirsty Texans to consume it. I have never personally witness such an event in all my time, and i have been to alot of parties in my life. God Bless Texas. Birch and i have decided to make this an annual event !
