Lunch at Furnace Creek
Kelly preflighting her Cessna 152 at Furnace Creek (L06) in the Valley of Death. We caught some grub at the Ranch Cafe and then blasted out of the Mojave Desert on the 1.5 hr return trip to Vegas.It can get a lil hairy scud running these valleys when you have an overcast restricting you from a climb. Today 6000 ft of Mt Charleston was sticking up through the cloud deck. Kelly is working on her private pilot license and is close to soloing . Keep up the good work Kelly and thanks for lunch!
