The Sandbar Unleashed

The word
LAKE just instills happiness to my soul. When we need a brainflush in Race City USA this is where the destination lies.
Sandbar is a cove and small island near the south end of Lake Norman and it holds a gathering of some of the most idiotic behavior known to mankind. I love it and i love this place. Any given weekend a shindig Armada of about 200 boats or more gathers here for a throw down , southern style!!!!
Molly ,Bonnie Jade, Kiger, Landon, Lisa, Ryan and myself took the Air Nautique out there yesterday for the festivities. The ski is broken this week so it stayed in port on normandy, oh well, maybe we will hit it again next week ! Until then wakeboarding is on the agend til the Dover Race this week's end. Bye for now , c ya at the Sandbar ,if you can find it ! It is elusive and there are no directions, good luck !
Mojave Camping Frenzy

As i post this today i continue to stop the spinning of my internal compass after almost a week in
Las Vegas. These people are some of my closest West Air buddies all reunited for a no holds barred completely uncensored trek back into the Mohave Desert for a night of chaos and mayhem. I am still licking my wounds from all the weeks activity. Wow what a breathe of fresh air to see them all
Jason, Patty, John, Dan , Bill ,Brett, Rachael, Cody, Jen, Tronde, Sean, Lance, Tommy, Robbie, Steph,Dawg,Bernie,Eric,Kimmy,Abby, and Giz. While i was there Lance and i took Chicayne the Supra out for a 120 mph spin, Tommy and i lounged some honeys at the Sun Coast Pool and hit baseballs in the cage, ate at Big Dogs with Eric,Beerpong with Brett, Bill Dan, Kim and Rachael, and went to some fine christian establishments with the Roomeys. All in all the time spent traveling was so well spent and i honestly feel like a new man after the trip. While i was there an endless amount of emotions were processed by my brain and i took away something very special. A renewed grasp on life and
Unconditional Friendship. I will be back soon but for now i bid you farewell. Good luck to the ventures bestowed upon all of you. Thank you so much for the irreplaceable memories. Love you guys 'Come on' !

Accelerate Your Life

If The United States Navy decided to open a theme park then this is a proposed ride. Beats the heck out of Top Gun at Carowinds ! Wonder how long the line would be for this ride.
Flyin Hawaiians

Earlier in my posts you might have met
Sean, a flight instructor from Hawaii that i worked with at West Air. Sean flew home from Vegas with Brian and I last Thanksgiving for a lil vacation.
Sean and his lovely wife
Sharon live in
Phoenix where she is working on her degree and he is instructing. These pics are a bit delayed making the blog but i got up with them in Phoenix while we were out for the races uummm a month ago. It was a good time had by all and it was great to see these guys for dinner and a drink . I miss everyone back west and i will see you very very soon. My Vegas trip scheduled for may 23-28. I can hardly wait.
DHP 200 Bittersweet

This weekend was one for the record books ,
Adam whom i haven t seen in a year,
Brian Squared and myself blasted off to the Darlington Raceway friday night( 5 /12/06) for the
Plywood 200 and had an excellent time. Denny Hamlin walked away with the W, so did Greg Biffle in the Cup race. I happen to be off work for 3 weeks while the Charlotte Race festivities go down. We are not required to fly our guys to those races because it is so close that they just drive down. Also Myrtle Beach Bikeweek was crackin this weekend so we headed down to the strip for some uncensored action and that is exactly what we got . I can t even post those pictures they are so sociably unacceptable. We had lots on the agenda for the trip, wakeboarding in the intercostal waterway, lunch with some flight school friends, and shaking a leg at a couple watering holes however it was cut a little short by a catastrophe back at home. An ex-girlfriend of mine whom is a good friend of the family
Kacey Christopher Sasser was tragically killed by a drunk driver while riding on a motorcycle the same night as the race and that meant that i would trek back a little early to be with the family. Kacey's husband
CJ was also injured in the wreck and resides in ICU at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem NC. If you were to scroll down to my post called intertwined then you would meet her sister Raney , another dear friend of mine from way back when . These people are on the top of my list and i would need to be at home for moral support. It is a sad day as i announce her passing .
She will be missed tremendously , especially by her 7 year old daughter McKinsey. We love you Kacey , go rest high on that mountain baby, as you watch over us we will be thinking of you always. Your time here was not ill spent . We will not mourn your death but try to celebrate your life this week. As you soar thru the golden landscapes of heaven try to remember only what you have accomplished and not what you didn't . Your life was a medley of selfless acts that will be your legacy. You will never be forgotten.
Rusty Rudder

Meet my new roomate Bonnie from Iowa. Landon ,Robbie, Bonnie and I hang every tuesday at the Rudder on Lake Norman. This place spills over onto the docks before midnight ,it never fails. Bonnie and i live in an apartment about 3 miles away .
Nature's Little Indications

If this is what you see driving to work on a monday then you might consider calling in sick. This is my monday for the record , 5/8/06 ! It can only get better i suppose. My posts have been few and far between the past couple weeks for good reason. The new job is awesome, the new apartment and roomate are great , but the spare time is a precious commodity anymore. I find myself flying out Wed or Thurs every week and not returning before Sunday morning so creating time to blog is tough. At any rate i love the new life and continue working feverishly to make it work. Never forget that flight time is not deducted from ones lifespan ! It is really that relaxing and majestic ! Good day to you wherever on this globe you might be this monday evening.
